infertility ovaries burst empathy lifebeatsforme share your story family history modernized

“As I think anyone with chronic medical problems can agree, it is not for the faint of heart.  Last Fall my infertility issues actually led to emergency surgery because my ovaries had ruptured and I was bleeding internally.  This process in the last year really has helped me feel way more empathetic toward everyone and the trials everyone is facing.  And although I would never say that I am grateful to have a trial, I am grateful for the growth I have experienced.  I am grateful that I am able to feel more empathetic.   I think that it humbles me and makes me choose how I spend my time more wisely and to cherish the friendship and relationships, especially with my children that I have already.”
